Dr. Khan, MD
Dr. Khan completed her psychiatry residency from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010. After completing residency, she provided psychiatric care to the patients ages 18 and up, with varied psychiatric conditions. Her areas of interest include, but not limited to: mood disorder including major depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, and Psychosis. She has worked with severely mentally ill patients in ACT program at Chesterfield Community Service Board.
Dr. Khan worked as a staff psychiatrist at St. Mary’s Hospital Richmond, Virginia, where she provided service to patients in different settings including outpatient, inpatient, and consult liaison service. She also provided psychiatric services at Eastern State Hospital and worked with Forensic patients.
Dr. Khan believes in multidisciplinary collaboration and holistic approach to treat patients. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
