Allison Revenson, LCSW
Ms. Revenson has been with Commonwealth Counseling Associates since September of 2001, providing counseling services to adolescents and adults in the West End office. Prior to joining CCA, she worked for Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Mental Health Case Manager. Ms. Revenson was also previously employed by The Psychiatric Institute of Richmond as a Program Therapist/Case Manager, and worked for 6 years as a Mental Health Therapist at the Crossroads Community Services Board in Farmville, Virginia.
Ms. Revenson works with individuals, couples, families and groups. She practices from a solution focused perspective, specializing in areas that include anxiety and depression, couples therapy for marital enhancement, and issues around life changes. Ms. Revenson will soon be co-facilitating a new group on marital enhancement with a CCA colleague. She has extensive experience with women’s issues, including depression, childrearing, marital problems, and co-dependency.
Ms. Revenson received her Bachelor of Social Work and her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1990, and maintains her membership in the National Association of Social Workers.
