We offer a range of specialized treatment and evaluation services for seniors, their families and caregivers.
The goal of psychological assessment and treatment offered to seniors at CCA is to provide assistance in maintaining healthy abilities to adapt and function in the face of environmental, physical and psychological stressors specific to later life.
General mental health issues can be managed in an individually designed treatment plan sensitive to specific needs of the client. Adjustment to life transitions (retirement, relocations), role changes, bereavement, loneliness, physical changes and ailments, economic stressors, death and dying issues, restricted mobility, and memory decline are a few of the issues with which CCA clinicians can help. Caregiver stress is another area that can effect depression and anxiety.
