Security

CommonwealthCounseling.com uses two different types of 256-bit security for all patient information forms on this website. This is the highest level of security available on the Internet.

GoDaddy Positive SSL LogosFirst, our online forms are constructed using a third-party service called JotForm. We create the forms on this service and then embed them in our site. The forms, when filled-out, are then sent securely through JotForm’s 256-Bit Encrypted SSL Certificate with GoDaddy.com.

Second, we have our own 256-Bit Encrypted SSL Certificate installed on the CommonwealthCounseling.com website / server through Comodo Positive SSL.

Long story short, when forms are filled-out and processed through our site, they are secured through two separate 256-Bit Encryption methods.

What Is the Encryption Strength of Your SSL Certificates?
All of our SSL certificates support high-grade 256-bit encryption.

The actual encryption strength on a secure connection using a digital certificate is determined by the level of encryption supported by the user’s browser and the server that the website resides on. For example, the combination of a Firefox browser and an Apache Web server normally enables up to 256-bit AES encryption with our SSL certificates. This means that depending on the Web browser and Web server that combine to establish the secure connection through one of our SSL certificates, the encryption strength of the secure connection may be 40, 56, 128, or 256 bit.
