The Client Experience
Selecting Your Clinician Selecting the right clinician for your needs should not be a random process. For that reason, when you call CCA for the first time, you will speak with our Director of Client Services who will discuss your needs and preferences with you. If CCA can meet your needs, we will guide you to the clinician who is the best fit for you. This person will then act as your Primary Clinician through your relationship with our practice. To deliver the best results for our clients, we have found that often the skills of more than one clinician may be required through the life of the client relationship. The clinician whose expertise is counseling for example may not be the right clinician to manage medication or conduct diagnostic testing. For this reason, we have created the Primary Clinician role. Should you ever need the services of another expert or other resources within or outside of CCA, your Primary Clinician will coordinate these activities on your behalf.
Your First Meeting On your first visit to CCA, you will meet with your Primary Clinician for a comprehensive assessment interview. During that meeting, you will teach us as much as possible about the nature and history of your difficulty. When appropriate, we may offer you structured assessments to better assist us in getting to know you, your needs, and your objectives. At the end of that first meeting, your clinician will provide and discuss with you specific recommendations. Our clients leave this experience with confidence and peace of mind knowing that their needs are understood, and that they are embarking on a constructive journey with a trusted partner. |
